SigaMeCar takes your privacy seriously. To better protect your privacy We provide this privacy policy notice explaining the way your personal information is collected and used.

Collection of Routine Information

This platform track basic information about their users. This information includes, but is not limited to, IP addresses, app details, authenticated users and timestamps. Users are uniquely identified in order to ensure no nefarious access are performed as a attack against the platform and/or the users. The information is tracked for routine administration, maintenance and security purposes, and is never shared with any third party providers/companies.

Furthermore, upon initial registration within the platform, information such as your legal identifying document(RG / CPF), E-Mail, Home Address, Phone Number, and more, will be collected for the purposes of uniquely identifying the user for security purposes(eg. avoiding impersonation), and means of communication between the company and the client.

Such information is never collected through the app, instead being part of the initial registration within our support team.

Upon termination of the services from any of the parties, all information regarding the user shall be removed, and not stored.

Collection of telemetric and geolocation data

As the purpose of our platform suggests, we collect information such as your vehicle's real time position, speed, and more, in order to provide you with this information directly at your phone, and historical storage purposes. This information is never shared with any third party providers, nor used for advertising purposes, being stored purely in secure servers with limited access.

Storage of this information is limited to a max of 90 days, being deleted from our servers after this period. Stored information can be accessed by the user at any moment through the History feature within our app, or by contacting our support team.

Access to this information may be granted to law enforcement agencies upon legal mandate, or authorization from the end user. Upon termination of the services from any of the parties, all historical data, together to information regarding the end user vehicle(s) shall be removed, and not stored.

Cookies

This app uses cookie solely for authentication purposes, having information related to preferences to be within the user browser's local storage, which is a more privacy-regarding option, and easily-cleanable by the user if so preferred.

This platform makes no use of advertising or third party providers, nor shares any information regarding advertising tracking to any third parties, as this would be a direct violation of the user's privacy.

We have included links on the platform for the purposes of attribution(for example, OpenStreetMap project), for your use and reference. We are not responsible for the privacy policies on these websites. You should be aware that the privacy policies of these websites may differ from our own.

Security

The security of your personal information is important to ys, but remember that no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. While we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

In case of a data-breach or information leakage, clients should be notified about the data-breach, and information regarding such, together to the actions of the company, shall be disclosed publicly.

This Privacy Policy is effective as of June 13th, 2025 and will remain in effect except with respect to any changes in its provisions in the future, which will be in effect immediately after being posted on this page.
